Blueprint for the Bush is a 10 year whole-of-Government strategy for building a sustainable, liveable and prosperous future for rural and regional communities in Queensland.

The program started in 2006 and is a partnership between the Queensland Government and the peak agricultural group AgForce.

It has four main goals:

  • sustainability of primary production
  • liveability of rural communities
  • prosperity for rural Queensland
  • strengthening planning, coordination and delivery of services.

It represents the Queensland Government's commitment to building strong and economically sustainable communities across rural and regional Queensland.

More importantly, Blueprint for the Bush is a partnership with the people of rural Queensland. By working together we can deliver real and lasting benefits for current and future generations.
